Nba 2k11 for people outside the US

Every year all of us from countries outside the US and Canada often have a hard time finding the game. It has admittedly gotten WAY better in recent years with no 3 month delays for PAL release and other crazy delay's we used to have to put up with. I still remember paying roughly twice what people from the US were paying due to poor exchange rates and massive shipping fee's to get the game shipped here so i didn't have to wait so long. To make matters worse that game was ESPN NBA Basketball which sucked.

So this thread is for people to post any updated release info that they can find so hopefully we can all track the game down in our respective countries as easily (and as early) as possible.

For Aussie's all have found so far is the 8th of October for 2k11: http://dstore.com.au/games/nba-2k11/12433103.html

It's not listed at all on the ebgames.com.au website yet which is strange considering it is supposed to come out in less than a month and a half.

I live in Sweden and Gamestop has it listed for October 5th here. Price will be roughly the same as in the US, perhaps a bit less even.

If you have Gamestop in your country, go to them, they're bound to know.

You'll always be able to buy it online as a digital copy from Steam or other similar sites though.

Some greek sites say it will be released on 5th of October some on 8th.

Play-Asia here baby. No release date yet but they usually get it on the same date as the US. Tad expensive with shipping but there's really no alternative.

I totally forgot about Steam and the PC version. Does it normally release at the same time as the console versions? I might have to get 2 copies this year, one on the ps3 and one on the PC.

I live in Canada, and I remember calling several stores every couple of days to check if they have the PC version. It took a little while for it to be in stores here. I hope this time it'll get here sooner.

last year the game also listed as 5th of october or the 6th,but i got it from a local store few days before on 2nd of october.

You have no idea how good it is now, even if you have to wait a bit. When I lived there, I had to wait for 2K5 until March 2005(!!!!!). And I don't even want to tell you about the eralier ones...

Yeah it used to be absolutely ridiculous how long we (people outside the US) had to wait and sometimes games weren't even released outside the US (like College Hoops).

According to several sources it's October 8th in Germany.

However I'll be in the States anyways around that time. So the good news is I can get me the US version on the 5th. The bad however is that I won't get a chance to actually play the damn thing til mid october...:-(

You have no idea how good it is now, even if you have to wait a bit. When I lived there, I had to wait for 2K5 until March 2005(!!!!!). And I don't even want to tell you about the eralier ones...

if i wasn't clear(and i'm sorry), i meant that i got the game few days before people in the u.s could get it.
and i remember that we got 2k5 so late, the problem in israel is that the number one sport is soccer and there is no love for basketball games, i could only dream about getting games like College Hoops in stores.luckily in this days,it's not a problem anymore.

yeah i'm so glad the ps3 is region free. Makes importing game from the US for sports that get no love locally (Ncaa football for example) so easy.
