Hakim Warrick..he's gonna be amare pt 2."I'm so far ahead of my time, I'm bout to start another life
Look behind you, I'm bout to pass you twice
Back to the future and gotta slow up for the present
I'm fast, dudes can't get past my past
How they supposed to deal with my perfect present?" -
Re: Player You've Turned Into A Star
^^^^ He is an insane dunker. Just a crappy shooter. Just work on shooting and he can probably be better than AmareComment

Re: Player You've Turned Into A Star
This may surprise many of you, but I brought Yue Sun out of relative obscurity and turned him into a 15-PPG shooting guard in 2K10. It took a ton of offseason training and game experience, mind you, but it actually happened. The dude has a Most Improved Player trophy to show for it.
This is one of the things I love about The Association, the fact that bench players often progress by leaps and bounds if given enough minutes and opportunities. Not to mention that in almost every one of my Associations, I've had to deal with at least one or two position battles between a young role player and an established veteran, which poses some interesting options in free agency and at the trade deadline.
It's what makes Association so fresh, IMO. Regardless of what a player's "potential" rating initially conveys...the opportunity to develop a star out of a initially "untalented" player is great. It'll take patience, but once a player you develop starts producing on-court and in the stat column, it's a great feeling.Owner of URWL CAW WRESTLING: http://www.rantboard.net/Comment

In 2k10 it was Flynn... in 2k11 it's going to be Wesley Johnson (can't you tell I'm a syracuse fan?)Comment

Re: Player You've Turned Into A Star
I'd have to go with the hometown hero Demar DeRozan, first off cause i live in toronto and i would love to see toronto get someone to watch again, secondly in the summer league, Demar showed some huge strides towards stardom, the only part of his game that was lacking last season was his shooting ability, and now that he has a bit of a 15 - 20 foot jumper on lock and a bit of confidence going into a season with a Raptors Team that he can lead, I would love to put Toronto back on the map with Demar
NFL Team: Baltimore Ravens
NBA Team: Denver Nuggets ( Until Carmelo Leaves)
