Why are bank shots so high?

First of all, game looks phenomenal so far. Loving the new plays, the controls, etc.

I'm not usually one to nit pick but one thing that kind of sticks out like a sore thumb in the videos is the bank shots.

Why are bank shots so high off the glass? It just looks weird. I mean, some shots go off the glass that high in real life but not ALL of them!

Bank shots worked and looked fine in 2k10, I wonder what made them change the code for this? If this is something they can change before launch, please do so!

I remember Mike saying they fixed this, not sure if it was in the build Czar was playing or not.

I heard that it was an early August build.

That was the only thing that looked awkward in Czar's video on the Spurs. I think Duncan went high off glass off a post move and it looked like he was gonna shoot it over the backboard. I do hope that is fixed.

Confirmed. Our lead AI engineer fixed the high banking layups this morning. Apologies for the distress this issue has seemed to cause some of you.

Old build, fellas. The high banks won't be in retail. Not sure if the change was made before or after the demo build, so just a warning it may be there in the demo.

SIgh pointless thread..people don't look for information before they make threads they just make them out of the thin of the air,..there should be a question area were people can post question since they don't want to look for the answer to there information

Oh well. It was good to get a reaffirmation from a 2K official. I know some of us may have been wondering if it was truly fixed as mentioned a few weeks ago. Now we know. We all win!
