What is the hardest thing to grasp about isomotion for you?

Was talkin bout isomotion in the impressions thread and it got me thinkin about what makes isomtion so difficult for me. So I wanted to ask you guys what's the hardest thing for you to grasp about Isomotion?

The biggest thing I have a trouble with is the fact that a lot of the moves are set in stone.

In that when you do a spin move its always that same spin move regardless of what the defender might be doing. So if I'm going to the basket and I want to do a quick spin to get by a defender I have to always take into account the animation before I can do it.

So certain players have spin moves that work better in situations where the defender is further away from you while others are better suited for close quarters. And that always throws me off because there are times where I know in real life the spin or behind the back would be appropriate but in the game it may not work as well.

Its that stuff that really throws me off more then anything because each player is literally different from one another. Which is good in lot of ways but can be real confusing at times.

I have a hard time understanding the difference between not using the LT and using the LT. Also, I don't know exactly how to execute some moves, but that's just practice I guess. Behind the back and crossovers are fun, I don't know more than that though...

The LT to trigger Iso modifiers is just awkward for me. I'll get used to it, but it isn't very natural to both depress the LT and twirl the LS around at once. I prefer how the RT and LS work together in Fifa for skill moves.

I think you'll be able to modify the spin moves for your fav players. I guess the gist is that some guys just do have slower spins, but it'll be sweet if we can mod them.

I really love the isomotion, but its great that you can get around smoothly without it.

What's the difference between iso moves and modified iso moves? I can't really figure that out.

whats hard for me is understanding how to branch off from one move to the next, to where it can flow natural and look good. My combinations are just off right now, and so is my timing.

I always have trouble executing out of triple threat. I love using it on the post and the perimeter, but I can never chain the correct moves together to create a smooth separation from the defender. Frustrates the crap out of me.

i have trouble triggering size up moves then breaking out of them but im guessing breaking out of them is all about timing...

Mine is just consistency. There some moves I can pull off fine in practice mode in the past but once the game comes I can pull them off maybe 25% of the time.

for me..... i just keep reverting back to the old ways isomotion use to be preformed in previous years game...... i haven't grasped the new layout of the controls yet, and the demo being 4 minutes doesn't help

It seems very similar to last year with the spin move. In 2k10 there were certain players that I didn't do the spin move because there animation would spin them right into the defender and it was to slow. Lou Williams and Steve Blake were 2 guards who I liked doing the spin move with because it was much quicker. So it really depends on the isomotion package the player is given.
