The Ultimate Video Game NBA Squad

You’ve heard of Christmas and Christmas in July, but my Christmas comes in October in the form of NBA 2K and NBA Elite. I am always frantically searching for new information for these titles, and my imagination goes wild thinking about past games and players. Inevitably, this led me down the path of pondering about the best video game players ever to grace a console, which leads me to this article about the ultimate video game basketball team.

I loved playing with T-Mac in 2K3! And also, Shaq in 2K6 - when he was on their cover for the first time, and we could perform his moves as he did in real life.

Michael Vick on Madden 2004. Not only could he throw for 200 yards & rush for 175, he could also routinely drop 40 on the Pistons & Lakers...

        seriously though.

        LeBron in 2K9 & 2K10.
        Kobe in 2K10.

        D-Wade in Live 06.
        VC in Live 2004.

        Cincinnati Reds

        UNC Tarheels

Doug Christie Live '98 is my favorite video game player of all time. Michael Redd 2k9/2k10 is my second.

Oh yeah, Karl Malone in Live 99 (PC). Played a season with the Jazz at some point and just loved to play with Malone.

Talking about Live 95, Cedric Ceballos was a beast! My buddy and I used to put him on the Bulls and pretend it's MJ with hair...LOL!

PG Steve Nash NBA 2K7: Not a high flyer but this dude is the best shooter in the game today.....and then as well

SG Kobe Bryant NBA Live 06 : Once dropped 140 on the pistons with this guy on superstar level during a regular season game. The abilities they gave that man with there superstar traits really made him uncontainable.

SF Chris Mullin/Reggie Miller/Glen Rice NBA Live 99: Anyone who had this game knows these guys were not someone to double off of. Any little amount of day and its lights out….literally. (I prefer Mullin because he was a lefty and it threw guys off)

PF Kenyon Martin NBA Live 2003: The blocks in this game were crazy (unrealistic, but crazy). When you sent one back with K-Mart, it felt like he was back in Cincinnati, rejectin’ ish all the way back to the other side of the court.

C Shaquille O’Neal NBA Live 2004: The most unstoppable big man in that game, the drop step in that game was insane, and crazy power and his dunk rating made sure he finished everytime.

Yao Ming I think NBA2k8? He was a total beast on defense end.

Mitch Richmond NBA live 95. Dude didn't miss.

I'm sorry.......the most unstoppable player in video game basketball player history was Tom Chambers in Lakers vs Celtics. His double pump lay up had no answer !!!!

Go to the 50 sec mark of this video........

Yao Ming was unstoppable in NBA 2k8 on the offensive end. He was also a beast defensively b/c of his height as well.

Stuckey was definitely a beast in NBA 2k8 as well. I believe he had Wade's form, and the guy hit shots from anywhere on the floor. His 3 wasn't even high but you could hit them with ease..lol.
