    On the fence...

As someone who loved EA's NCAA basketball 10 and it's motion offense system, how does 2K11 compare/expect to compare to it in terms of gameplay?

Aw man, Where to even begin. Well first I would suggest reading the developer insights all about controls and play calling. Then check out DaCzars ten teams and ten days videos.

There are also many many gameplay videos on the operation sports youtube account. If you haven't seen any of this you a looooot of catching up to do, but it's all more than worth it.

I've watched all of them, its kinda what got me interested. As far as the demo, I've downloaded it, just haven't had time to try it yet.

leaps and bounds ahead of NCAA 10..way better post game, position specific play calling, better/more fluid animations, and so on. The demo alone i enjoyed more then NCAA 10 lol But in the end your gonna have to live with your purchase so i would advise you to just rent it first if ur still on the fence come release.

Ya get the demo and see for yourself. As someone who likes NCAA 10 (which I was very disappointed with) however, it might take some adapting to game mechanics and controls and what not. Good luck.

People are dubbing this the best simulation basketball experience of all time. Depending on how you like to play though, the demo might not do you justice. It's set at pro/default setting.

The producers have said the most realistic setting to play on is simulation/all-star. This is why iv'e stopped playing the demo and am just waiting for the full game to get the best experience possible

What would NCAA's motion offense have to do with NBA 2k11? I don't see the connection. NBA teams don't run motion offenses the same way as they do in college.

It wasn't just motion. That game ran plays remarkably well certainly better than 2k10. 2k11 has caught up though

I suggest you play the demo and read the insights about the game. There is a ton of improvement between the previous years game and the one that is coming out.

Pielet, don't place all of your stocks into the 2K demo. The full game should (will) be leaps and bounces above the demo. If you're still on the fence after experiencing the demo, the full game should bring your butt down to the ground (on 2K's side) after all is said and done.
