Re: NBA 2K11 IGN Review
Holy Crap this is from IGN??!
"Honestly, the stuff with Michael Jordan is reason enough to pick up NBA 2K11. The fact that 2K Sports did so much more with this game and improved it so greatly over last year's title is stunning. This isn't just the best basketball game ever; it's the best sports game of this generation."

Re: NBA 2K11 IGN Review
WOW. 9.5. Did not expect that. What the highest rated sports game ever? NFL 2k5? Madden 05
Edit: Madden 05 got a 9.5 for the xbox and NFL 2k5 got a 9.4. To my knowledge I don't think there has been a mainstream sports title rated higher at IGN.Last edited by PVarck31; 10-01-2010, 05:38 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 IGN Review
Good review. I can agree with most of the stuff. Haven't tried My Player or the Jordan Challenge but the Association mode is great within it self. Once you start playing it (the Association mode) it's kind of difficult to to try the other stuff.
I'll just wait until everyone tries the My Player and Jordan Challenge b/c they may end up patching it like last year when people start complaining Lol!
In all, this is the first time (NBA 2k series) in where you have to know what you're doing on the court in real life or you will lose to the CPU. I play HOF with simulation sliders and I'm currently 3-9 vs the CPU and I play (association) with the Atlanta Hawks.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 IGN Review
Keep in mind that IGN changed their scoring system, meaning that a 9.5 is literally one step away from a perfect score. Under their old system it could be as low as 9.1....or as high as 9.9!
That's pretty much unknown territory for sports games.Comment
