That one review that gave the game an 85 mentioned one flaw and it was the AI when playing 21. Lol is not just an expression. Man that is funny. I didnt even know you could play 21.

That’s not to say the title isn’t without its AI flaws. Playing a game of 21 against Shawn Kemp and Patrick Ewing proved to one of the most idiotic games I have ever seen in action. Patrick Ewing would jack up long distance threes while Kemp would finger roll in traffic rather than using his dunking prowess to overpower the opposition. So it was blatantly apparent that a few players, whether superstars or not, would never play to their strengths and try their best to screw everything up. Watching Dwight Howard attempt to beat his opponents off the dribble and pull back for a fadeaway three-pointer was worthy of a headshake or two.

Still laughing at that. As good as the AI is in the game I would assume that Ewing and Kemp were just messing around which would mean the AI is actually good for treating a game of of 21 as a game of 21. If Visual Concepts intentionally included playground AI they should email the perpetrator of that review and demand their just satisfaction.

The Gamespot review complains about the goals in the Jordan Challenge. The reviewer writes that it would be better to let players achieve greatness beyond the stat sheet with Jordan.

What would be the point of the Jordan Challenge?

Achieving general greatness comes in create a legend or in association mode if someone wants to add Jordan to a team.

The challenge is a specific mode that is different from others because the gamer must reproduce Jordan's achievements.

This gamespot review is absolute stupidity. For example....

Even though Michael Jordan is no better than a benchwarmer in NBA 2K11, it's impossible to ignore his presence....

and...

The Jordan Challenge mode isn't much fun. To come out victorious in each of the 10 games, you have to reach a certain statistical milestones. For instance, against the Jazz in The Flu Game, you have to put up at least 38 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists and win the game. If you come up short in any area, you have to restart from the first quarter. By forcing players to conform to specific statistical goals instead of greatness that extends beyond the box score, it devalues Jordan's achievements and forces you to play like a selfish ball hog.

Really, I can't believe guys like this actually get paid for their opinions.

And how are we supposed to 'achieve greatness' in a sports game according to them by signing autographs? endorsement deals? starring in commercials?!?
