The My Player Stat Cap Thread

Instead of me redoing this and having to update two threads in two separate locations please look here

If you can post your findings here I'll update them on the 2K forums. Any help is appreciated thanks.

I'm just bumping this because I'm sure some people here want to know this stuff, and that someone here can help.

good stuff, ill keep you up on my sg. though someone will probably beat me to it.

From what I`ve seen so far, it`d be nice of 2k lower the caps. There`s not much difference between a pass 1st PG and an Athletic one as it stands now.

The model NHL uses for its team-up is the perfect model IMO. No 99`s at all, not even 95`s. Everyones around 90, and the different player builds make for great variety.

I don't mind the fact that guys can get to 99 OVR, but the "caps" are so ridiculously high guys are probably somewhere in the 130s.

The difference comes from the default skill point level. Unfortunately the threads linked doesn't contain that information.

a players height and weight needs to be taking into consideration on capping certain attributes, for example u can create a 7foot at small foward, u can have a max 85 ball handle raiting, max 90 speed and a max of 95 off hand handle if you choose a scoring small foward, that leaves me to believe this year u will see people placing 7ft players at pg just like last year, the caps only took a hit on 7'5 centers, not going to be alot people making them this year since max handle and speed u can get is in the 50-60 range.

Yeah height not being a factor is silly. I made a thread about that here: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...p?p=2041678051
