2k10 or 2k11

So I need help deciding if I should get 2K11.
I play primarily offline and play association.
I hate Michael Jordan so can't see myself ever playing that mode.
So should I just keep 2K10 and update the rosters? Or is 2K11 worth buying based on what I play primarily?

Wow. You hate Jordan. Keep you money then. Never pick up a basketball or a basketball video game again.

But if you can somehow swallow your haterade, then buy it. It's better then 2K10.

So the game play hasn't improved enough to justify the move to 2k11?
Is all the hype just for the Jordan factor or is the game play improved a bunch?

gameplay is improved a LOT. There are some issues with association mode though. May want to hold off until the patch comes

Association is pretty much the only reason I would be getting the game...so if it is broken that would suck

2K11 for sure. Just don't play the Jordan mode. Gameplay, association, everything has been updated is much better. It's definetly a better playing experience.

Regardless of hating Jordan (which is strange enough), 2K11 is fundamentally, visually, and presentationally MUCH better than 2K10, a game that I liked a lot.

This is the greatest bball game ever, and may be the greatest SPORTS game ever.

Take the Jordan experience out of the game and you've got a solid and extremely deep game that is still better than 2K10.

Everything is more polished and refined. If you're big on presentation, you should watch the Audio insight to get a good idea of whether the game is worth your money.

So i am leaning towards upgrading...however, I just let myself get spooked i guess based on other threads(the association broke)....since that is the mode i want to play 95% of the time it freaks me out now seeing all those people having issues

2k11 is leaps and bounds better then 2k10. its like a night and day difference gameplay wise. if they had completely left out the jordan mode this still would be one of the best basketball games ever.

This is why I tell people to stay away from impression threads and videogame forums all together when it comes to a game you are on the fence about. Take Jordan out of the game and you still have the best basketball game ever made. Jordan only makes 1% of the greatness of this game.

I mean you have classic teams from the 80s and 90s. All new and much improved cpu AI. This game is so much better then 2k10 on all kinds of levels that it isn't even funny. The atmosphere of the game is something that I never seen in a sports game before.

Well worth the money.
