    My biggest gripe: LAYUPS

I'm really disappointed with how the layups work in this game. Many of the layup animations in the halfcourt end up making you go slower than you were before you even started the layup (minus the hopstep layups, which I feel accurately keep your speed as it was). This makes it so easy for people to block your shot, as your momentum with the layup rarely even carries you out of bounds past the baseline >.<

They got the momentum right with dunks. I mean you actually sprint to the basket when you go up for a dunk, and it's muich harder for a defender to initiate contact than if you went up for a layup.

Am I doing something wrong? I feel like I've played countless games online and offline, and I've gone to practice mode too to try to get different layup animations that actually make you sprint to the cup and I can't get it.

I dunno I just wish I wouldn't miss so many damn layups! I've never seen YMCA teams miss this many damn open layups and shots but oh well it's still a great game!

Yeah man, and I feel like we wouldn't be missing layups if the players actually ran to the hoop like they meant it other than freakin dunks.

When you hop step with the y button when attacking and then go up for the layup, it carries your momentum better than the layup animation itself most of the time..
