Pick and Roll broken?

I'm getting some more success out of holding the L1, then tapping it again as they walk over to set the pick. Still not as responsive as I'd want it to be, but its better than nothin.

If anything, I was having trouble with pick and pops....my center was actually always cutting when didnt want him to. Now I can do both on command.

i'm good with the pick and rolls/pops, but I still can't get the screener to slip. I press and release to get the screener to come up, then I tried pressing and releasing again but nothing happens. Or I try just tapping and the player icons come up. am I missing something here?

Also this year you have to make an extra step until the defender starts to commit, that´s when your screener will make his move because only then the lane opens up.
IMO you need to lay off the turbo until you are free of the screener and your man.

Also, like said running actual PnR plays is much more effective, even the quick Pick and Roll works better.

Seems good to me but how do you make them pick and pop?

This sounds more and more like a user control error. Because last night I ran it a few tmes. And worked perfectly.

Press/relase, and press again immediately after releasing (before screener arrives)

I'm a newbie to the series but I was trying to figure this out last night myself. Here is what I came up with. (PS3 Version)

Pick/Roll-Tap the L1 button. After the pick is set the player should roll to the basket.

Pick/Pop-Hold L1 till the player sets the pick. Then when you come off the screen he should be there.

Pick/Slip-Haven't gotten this one to work yet but manual states, hold L1 to call for the pick, then it L1 again.

I think it is a verbage problem with the instructions. It says press and hold L1 to pick and roll, when really it should say tap L1. You hold L1 till the player sets the pick for a pick and pop.
