HELP! Why am I stuck using 1 player in quick game?

I dont know if I did something in the settings or not, but any quick game I try to play Im stuck using 1 player and I cant use any other player. But I even deleted the settings and rosters file save about 3 times and I still am stuck. Its like I''m playing my player mode with a nba player in quick game, what happened?

Check Controller Settings.... Preferred Position.

Edit : I dont know whats going on but I went into the living rosters section, backed out and chose a nba today game and it went back to normal.

Speaking of which, if anyone can help with this also, how come the nba today games dont show in the quick game section off the bat? why can I only get them showed if I go into living rosters and then back out?
