What is your favorite play call or Set to use?

I was shocked when I didn't see a thread on this. But I wanted know from the public what is you favorite play to call. Or better yet.. Which play set is your favorite?

I don't know if it was Da Czar video. But the Thunder set is down right beauitful in my opinion. Every single one of their plays always start out looking exactly the same formation. Each play has a boat load of options to beat the defense. And just when you think you've figured it out....Counter. They run a 1-4 kind of offense. My favorite play to call is 43 Roll.

So guys what is your favorite play or set to use?

12 Stretch Roll - Lethal for MJ in the Jordan challenge, also good for pure shooters like Ray Allen. The SG fights across two screens, moving from one end of the court to the other. Usually ends up open for 3, or can be pushed down closer to the hoop for a nice 2.
12 Cross Up - Lovely play for scoring PG's...I've been using is for AI in my Bobcats association. The PG dishes the ball, heads baseline, curls around a couple screens, and is in a nice position to pop the 3.
23 Slice - Simple play that puts your SF in the low post...effective for mismatches. Strong SF with good post games excel with this play.

For Wade Razor is a killer. As well as his Roll.

For Mike Miller (when he can stay on the court..guy is hurt every game so far) 24 Open....he takes the lead pass...steps behind the line and the 3's rain down from the heavens!

Is anyone changing some of the plays as well?

I been adding a 12 Up for Jeff Green. Its a floppy set. And the thing about Jeff is that he is really a SF playing out of postion at the 4. I try to exploit the other bigger PF (like Gasol). Who really can't run after Jeff behind all those screens.

I also like to give Durant a floppy play. But I can't remember which it is again.

When I was doing my Association with the Hornets, I changed all of David West's plays because they had him going to the low post, which makes no sense because his inside game isn't fantastic. I changed all his plays to high post plays, 14 Roll was my favorite to run with him.

I don't remember the name of this play (probably 12...something), but it's one of those that are set for Rip Hamilton, the one that's executed by pressing "X". Love this play!!!

In my Celtics Association, if I'm in need of a big bucket my go-to play is 12 Curl to Ray Allen. It's almost unstoppable.

Yes I mix it up. I also change certain sets/plays depending on who is going to defend the player...the middle etc.

Again the game is so deep and you can really dig into the play book and get so much out of your team. Run the plays in practice before the game...this game is the ****!!!!

I took Nogster's advice and changed some of the plays for Melo, Durant, Rose, Carter, Ellis, etc. It seems like some of their default plays are set up for long range shots.

Well I like to catch the ball wide open. It puts pressure on the defense to recover. I hit one jumper and another one....The pump fake and drive is right around the corner lol. Thats why I don't mind if they catch the ball wide open from deep. And with Lead pass. You make the player curl into the med range or catch the ball in med range. I rather it that way then having to lead pass them out to the 3 point line.

Doesn't Melo have a few med range plays around? (Like free throw line elbow)

I like the 21 Mismatch play for Magic with the 1991 Lakers. Puts him down in the post where he can go to work against the small PG's that guard him.

Oklahoma City's playbook is nice and I've also got to say that the New Jersey Nets have some real good plays for both Devin Harris and Brook Lopez.

I run my as OKC ( GO THUNDER ) as my association team and whenever Harden is on the floor and I need a 3 I run "12 Option" I think that is the name.

PG sets up at top of key. SG starts in corner on ball side alone. PF/C both start high post opposite ball side. SF starts block opposite ball.

SG sets pick right under basket for SF coming off of it for option 1. This is a great way to get Kevin Durant the ball alone for a drive or for a shot. After SF clears the SG's pick, if SF option isn't there PG dribbles to weak side where SG is coming off a double screen from the PF/C to the (original) weakside wing for a 3. This is a play I love running with Harden @ 2 and Durant/Green @ 3 because for me Harden is deadly if left open and Durant/Green normally are bigger than the opposite 3 and can drive or shoot over them out of the iso.

Oh yeah, without exception, I pretty much subbed in my own plays for all my players. The majority of the PG and PF plays for the Bobcats were not to my liking whatsoever

12Curl with Ray Allen sounds nice
