For those that have had the black screen after the 1st quarter in the Association, someone over at the 2K forums posted a fix that I tried myself and works (so far that I can tell). Basically, if you sim past the rookie-sophomore game, it shouldn't freeze anymore after the 1st. Haven't played into the playoffs yet but hopefully it doesn't start freezing up again later on.

My Association froze yesterday in two consecutive games after the first quarter, just before the Next Game Announcement.

Tomorrow i'll try this, i was really a couple of games away from the All Star Game, so will report if it works.

Mine is freezing too after the 1st quarter.
