PS3 - game crashes - how to fix?

Ever since the last updates, the game locks up after 1 quarter of play. Is there a way to reinstall the game on the PS3? Thank you

If it's in Association or Season mode, sim past the rookie-soph game and it should work. If it's freezing in regular games, then go to Network settings in the PS3 menu and 'disable' the internet connection, that might work.

What does Sim-Past the rookie soft more game?
Im playing a season BTW. Game 1.

Hmmm, never heard of it freezing in game 1 of the season, generally it freezes later on, but the fix is basically to sim up to the all star game which is the game after the rookies game. So it might be a good idea to delete the game data under 'game data utility' in the PS3 menu and see if that works. If not, the sim up to the all star game and see if that fixes it.
