Is the trade logic REALLY fixed?

I like the addition of the trade value via stars, but does it really work?

I just started my 2nd association. The first I had was with the Suns, and now with the T'Wolves. Some of the trades I've made using trade finder.

    Suns:

    Hedo for Josh Smith
Robin Lopez and a first for Brooke Lopez
Josh Childress Grant Hill for Trevor Ariza

    T'Wolves:
Luke Ridnour, Michael Beasley and 2012 first, and filler for Blake Griffin
Wayne Ellington and Darko Milicic for JJ Hickson and a first.

I like the steps they are taking and effort regarding the trades and what not, but in my opinion, they have a long way to go, as I feel I raped the computer in all of these trades, yet they were offered to me.

Well, it cuts both ways. When I use trade finder, it seems the vast majority of the options are something along the lines of JaVale McGee for Carmelo Anthony and a 1st round pick.

That is probably due to the "1 star" glitch, where if you schedule weekly practices, everyone on your team has a 1 star trade value, thus the computer offering you garbage trades. I don't schedule weekly practices when I'm going to be doing trading.

It would probably help a little if they made Blake Griffin's role a "Star." I know he's a rookie with a 76 rating, but he's the Clippers franchise player right now and they plan to build around him. John Wall is labeled a Star right now, so they might as well.

I don't know what to say about the other trades though.

            In my Hawks association I've had multiple offers from the Bucks to the likes of these;

            Hawks Get:

Brandon Jennings and 1st round pick

            Bucks Get:
            Al Horford

Also had a few more that included multiple first round picks and Jennings for Horford and Jordan Crawford.

Didn't wanna pull the trigger on those mainly because Horford has been a dominating factor in my games and I don't see the Bucks trading Jennings anytime soon unless something drastic happened.
