NBA 2K11: Which No Name Player Have You Turned Into A Star?

Who have you developed, and developed, and developed into your star that isn't a star prospect IRL.

I needed a cheap sg for my nuggets franchise. I picked up Mcants, really didnt know the guy but I know he played for timberwolves. I took a risk and started him at sg and he averaged 20ppg. Developed his defense and playmaking ability and hes pretty nice.

And the first guy I sign/trade for my backup position is Marcus Williams from Grizzlies. I have developed him into a nice pg for the last couple of years. Put some time into his jumpshot and defense and after a couple of years he averages 15ppg, 9-10 assist 4-5 rebounds when he becomes a starter. If your looking for a cheap pg, sign this guy. He is very consistent and even as a role player at 10-15 min per game he averages 5ppg, 2-3rebs, 3-4 asst.

    Alonzo Gee from Spurs
Terrence Williams is a beast also.

Guy I havent had much luck on is Donte Green from the Kings.

I am very, very surprised he never worked out in Jew Jersey. I thought he was really going to excel when he got drafted there.

Honestly haven't developed him yet, and I just acquired him as an "throw in" on a trade for Big Ben Wallace but... Austin Daye keeps stealing minutes from the likes of RJ, McDyess, Splitter... etc. He has an interesting combo of size, shot blocking and a great stroke. I put him on Granger and sat RJ the other day to try and shut down Granger... Daye's size messes with alot of SFs. I can also use him at the 4 and 5 spots. His jumper is just smooth.

Gordon Hayward...the number 9 pick for the Jazz has been ballin for me in my online leagues. He has been a pleasant surprise and I have given him the green light when he comes of the bench for me....

Witness Gordon tear up the Magic, especially in the 3rd quarter of the game below....

LS+LT to start the spin, then use the flick flick shots...which is LT, Right Stick Away, Let go of LT, then Finish the up and under with Right Stick away again.

Re: NBA 2K11: Which No Name Player Have You Turned Into A Star?

Majority of my Wizards squad are no name guys.

PF-C: Sean Williams - acquired via a trade w/ the Nets. He plays hard off the bench and he's played solid minutes for my starting PF when he went down.
SF-PF: Austin Daye - Another backup that's had to step up recently because of injuries.
SF: Derrick Brown - I love this dude. He's quick & fast, plus he has the size at 6'8 227lbs to bang w/ some of the big guys. I call him the poor-man's Lebron. He was just sitting in FA and I took a chance and I'm glad I did.

But my favorite player on my team is
PF-C: Jason Thompson - acquired him via a trade w/ the Kings. I sent Arenas out there and got him along w/ a few other goodies. This guy is beastin out right now. He's my starting PF avg 18 and 8rpg. If you have a chance to get this guy, I say go for. He's young, athletic and has 2 yrs left on his contract. Build up his defense and you have a winner and a cornerstone of your team. He dropped 50 on the Timberwolves a few games back. Watching this kid play, in coach mode, was a joy.

Yeah, Gee is a beast for me as well. Cause he's so athletic.

Not really a no name but a definite improvement came when I traded for Terrance Williams in my Hawks franchise. He has quickly turned into one of my main scorers (and have even started looking for him more than I look for Joe Johnson).

He went from averaging like 10-15 points a game to averaging close to 30 on my team. He's just an all around good player. He has the ball handling skills, a good jumper from all ranges, and can take it to the hoop like a point guard.

Hey man Great defense. Love seeing people play man to man in multiplayer. The game should reward you for playing like that.

I just told you...to start the spin LT+LS either toward the baseline, or away from the baseline...then with camera relative...hold LT +RS+RS away from the basket, to complete the Flick Flick shot.
