What am I missing?

Playing my first game of Association. I'm in the 4th quarter and the score is 31 to 15. I'm losing. I just dont understand how to work this game. I try and pass its picked off. I try and shoot and can't hit anything whatsoever. The only play that has worked is to try and get inside to no avail and then pull a short to mid range jumper and hope it goes in and even that doesn't work that often. I just don't get how this is supposed to be the best simulation of the NBA and the score is 31 to 15 in the 4th quarter.

What quarter length are you playing on?

Based on the game score, I'm guessing you did 3-4 min quarters?

Real life nba quarters are 12 minutes so the score your getting might actually be right depending on how long your quarters are.

You should also adjust the sliders to how you like them.

If you're shooting is real bad, increase the sliders for your shooting so you make more % of the shots.

Also, don't try to make crazy passes like over 2-3 guys or something because it'd obviouslly get picked off. Use icon passing instead.
