LOVE the new patch. This game is absolutely perfect IMO. Never felt better about a $60 purchase in my life. This is by far the best sports game I've ever played, maybe one of the best games I've ever played period.

Thank you 2K, as long as you guys keep putting out great basketball games like this you will have my $60 every year (as you've had for the last 12 years now).

I agree, this is the best game I have ever played period, its so deep, with the Jordan challenge, My Player, Practice modes, online, and the Association, which is now worth playing because the computer is so challenging, now when I play online I can go back to playing the computer with out feeling like the cpu is too easy.

I have said it time and time again on these forums and I'll say it again - I went out and bought Playstation 3 a few years ago so I would NEVER have to play a 2K Sports game ever again (due to 2K's pathetic excuse for a baseball franchise.)

With this being said.....on a whim I went out and bought NBA2K11 and I COMPLETELY agree, this is one of the greatest sports games I have ever played in my entire life. I DESPISE 2K Sports but I'm not afraid to stick up for this game. I am completely addicted to "My Player."

With this being said.....on a whim I went out and bought NBA2K11 and I COMPLETELY agree, this is one of the greatest sports games I have ever played in my entire life. I DESPISE 2K Sports but I'm not afraid to stick up for this game. I am completely addicted to "My Player."

You should try diving into an Association, it really is amazing. It's sooo deep and every team plays differently (they play exactly like they do in real life). This game has the best AI I've ever seen, hands down. I don't even play online anymore because the Association is THAT good.

I did for a while....and I completely agree with you, it was great. The fact that I'm not playing an Association anymore isn't because it was bad - it's just that I find "My Player" to be so fun! I'm at the point where I'm actually starting to contribute and I cannot put it down.

You're right about each team having different styles of play. I was drafted by the New York Knicks and absolutely despised my team. Everyone was so terrible, including me. I requested a trade and THANKFULLY I was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Immediately, I noticed a HUGE difference between the Knicks style of play and the Thunder. The Thunder like to get out in transition where the Knicks are more of a slow-tempo team. Even as bad as my player is, he is contributing to the Thunder....making it easier to earn points and improve.

Seriously, I have no idea how 2K produced such a great game when, no offense, all their other titles have been so unbelievably terrible!!!

I love this game!

Sounds like MY PLAYER has taken a step forward, I might have to give it another try this year

Sometimes I see the computer do things on offense that blow my mind. I agree, unbelievable AI. And when I checked on FA, MQA and the draft post-patch, I think it may have the best GM AI ever, as well. The only challenge (based on what I've heard and read) may be from the NHL series. But of all the games I've played, no GM AI is smarter than this game's post-patch AI.

Yes this game is very addicting. I haven't even touched Association mode yet, ive just been playing the NBA Today quick games and Jordan challenge, so playing the association mode gives me something more to look forward too. 2K did a great job on this game, there are still a couple of things I wish they will address in NBA2K12, but 2K11 is probably The best sports game ive played.

Yessir, the Jordan challenge is deep and takes a while to complete, after that you can jump into anything Association, Online, My Player, or just got straight to practice and learn the plays and moves of the game. I've always loved good competition and must say the Association mode is GREAT, I leave online to all the shooting games.

No doubt..The best b-ball game ever..for example: now in association mode i can control ever team, not 8 like before..to see lebron go to the top in set the play up is amazing..rondo drive and dish to an open ray allen for 3..realistic man.

I love this game, no doubt.

Cant stand the switching of defensive icons in my player games tho. Anyone got a mitigating idea for that? The icon's are switching between 2 guys when close and end up getting scored on when the wrong one drives.

Guess I could space out some, but any idea's are welcome!

My wife constantly kept saying that she had doubt I would play that game much, since I'm so hockey when it comes to spending time on the console.

Well, now, she's wondering how in the hell I can keep playing while most of the time, I kept cursing at the game.

I always answer the same thing : "It's not because I suck at it that it's not fun!"

That game is simply amazing. With the patch, it makes me even more in love with it, since I'm told where to go on the court and how to set play. Now I understand more of the tactics involved in a basketball game, and I won't look at a real NBA game the same way.

That game is so deep, so many way to play it, that it's by far the best sports game I've ever played.
