Re: anyone play on hall of fame level?
I use to be able to beat the HOF CPU untill all these noobs asked for them to change the PERFECT jumpshooting and now its off, just like in 2k10 it thinks Im pump faking when Im trying to shoot -
Re: anyone play on hall of fame level?
I play on HOF, Simulation settings, and I can win with decent teams.
I'm doing a Kings Association where I play every game of a 29 game season with 3-minute quarters. I went 9-20 my first season, but I finished 6-4.
It's not that bad once you dive in, but the jumper timing is definitely tough.Comment

Re: anyone play on hall of fame level?
I'm in a association with the Heat right now on HOF with my shooting sliders at 43 and CPU at 45 and raised their quickness up to 70 on 11 min qtrs and I'm 23-11 while my team FG% is about 46% per game. D-Wade out 4-6 weeks and Lebron was out 1-2 weeks at the same time. Playing on this difficulty gives me the best challenge and I don't get bored with the game. I've lost at home to the Wolves and killed the Lakers at Staples without D-Wade. Not bragging but I don't understand how some of you play on Pro level. Winning every game isn't realistic at all and make every game feel unique.Comment

Re: anyone play on hall of fame level?
yes its really a strategic thing when playing on this level its not that hard but you have to be patient i mean patient the first thing is you have to lead pass to get players open right know im 20-7 with the magic on hall of fame custom sliders the only thing custom is i put the defense awarness up to 100 for both cpu and user and help strength 100 for both, the thing is its not as hard as it was before the patch the shooting is way to easy i dont like it but its still a fairly good challenge , the best way to beat hall of fame is use timeouts wisely think before every pass and box out and get the defensive rebound like your suppose to always get your worst rebouder after the shot and box out there best rebounder so your rebounder can secure the shot o and be patientComment

Re: anyone play on hall of fame level?
I played two games last night testing out some pepople's sliders.
One game on PRO...i got smashed and lost by 18.
One game on HOF (different sliders) it was a great game and I lost by...84-82.
I really feel like sliders and what team you use = more important than the level.
Use a team like the T-Wolves on PRO with tough sliders = brutally hard to win a game IMO.
Use a team like the Lakers...even on HOF, a win is possible.Comment

Re: anyone play on hall of fame level?
I'm one of those guys too that just prefers to play on the higher difficulty settings because it helps me concentrate on the game more, but how are you guys dealing with it when the blatent A.I. cheating goes on? I only see it really in close games when it's down the wire. The A.I. just makes every contested shot; meanwhile, I'm struggling to make easy layups, jumpshots are falling short despite good releases; I'm legitimate beat a man off the dribble only to have the CPU autorecover to block my path. It's so frustrating to me.According to my old marketing professor, satisfaction is when product performance meets or exceeds consumer expectation.Comment

Re: anyone play on hall of fame level?
I believe i will never play on HOF this year. It's just tough this year and i find it very challenging already on Allstar. It's not easy to play good defense for 48 mins. You need to stay focused the hole time. Every possession counts and it is so easy to make one or two mistakes and most of the time that is enough to fall short. Can't imagine to stay in the game the hole time on HOF now. I'm probably weeks/months away from it.
But i think it's great. This game will last a long time this year. I'm already addicted to it.Comment

Re: anyone play on hall of fame level?
Trying on HOF now(was on superstar/sim before) with sliders adjusted to increase challenge. Post patch, the game feels easier. I think my main issue is with the releases and CPU AI. It seems easier to hit shots for myself, and CPU offense is stagnant and wack sans several Coach Profile and Slider adjustments. I thought the AI difficulty was perfect out of the box.Comment

i agree with every word you said, i play with sim sliders an i dont make any adjustments and im starting to think i should because of a pattern i seem to have falling into.. the 1st quarter is always a struggle for me to een score 20pts, the 2nd i blow out the cpu so halftime im ahead/behind by 5 or 10pts, and then comes the dreaded 3rd quarter where everyone on the cpu team becomes jordan, which leaves battling back from 20pt fourth quarter deficits, does anyone else go through this as well?Comment

Re: anyone play on hall of fame level?
you have to use at least 3 timeouts in the third quarter or try to get a timeout every 3 min with cpu help it will calm down those runs that they haveComment
