    my player star or not

Hey guy's im new to posting threads as this is my first pls excuse me if i have made any mistakes...
I'm a 6'7 SF playn for the lakers in my 3rd season...my overall stats are 99,i'm 1st overall in my position ...while i play the game there is a star sign showing under my player but my my player profile page show's me as a starter...
I have even deleted d new patch which showd no change and even on re-installing it showd no change
Does any 1 have a clue how to solve this?

Re: my player star or not

      im experiencing the same issue...

2nd year with the miami heat...there's clearly a star under my player's feet during the game....but when you check out his stats/player card....it only indicates him as a starter....seriously dont know what's going on with that...

it doesnt really bother me but i do notice it

The star is just an icon to say your player is real good. Same way good finishers at the rim have the wing thing and 3 point shooters have a 3 by their name. It has nothing to do with the player roles

What this guy said. As long as Kobe's on your team you probably won't get the "star" role.

So what does the gatorade symbol stand for? I'm sure there's a thread around here with the info on icons.

I thought it was that your player was tired...but that was just a guess

Yep, according to my search you're right. Bummer, I thought it had something to do with highlight plays. I notice everytime after a highlight play (well maybe not everytime) that I get that symbol. All it really means though is making great plays is exhausting to my player.

so in dat case i wont be playing a role of a "star" in any of the teams...bec almost all of the team has atleast one star player..there are hardly 1 or maybe 2 whcih dont...but as d season progresses there are going to be trades and new drafted players coming in which may be star's...so i dont see the point of changing teams and trying to get a star role

Look on the bright side, at least once your stats pass Kobe’s it will be you in color on the starting lineup picture before the game!

well my overall is 99 so i do come as a highlighted player in d starting 5...but i thinks so gettin d star role is imp because...if one does get a star role the AI might staring calling plays more often for me rather than other players who's convertion ratio is less ...it might also lead into mp showing up in d HALF-TIME video rather than just showing up only in d comparison which come at d end of d half time report....a also the commentators will talk more abt MP how i played last season or how my assit or defense is going or talk abt how i was d last years mvp etc etc....and also say MP's name who lead the scoring past month rahter than ignoring it .....which leads to d enhancing the MP as a whole to another level...

AND isn't that what we want to feel like a true superstar.....

This would be nice, but it is not going to happen. Just like last year when they bring up league leader stats they will pretend you don't exist. The guy that does the half time show probably did not record any names other than players in the NBA. I should figure out a way to sim my player 10 years and see if there is a half time show at all since all the players will be pretty much be generated players and me!
