This Has Taken The Fun Out The Game For Me

I cant get realistic shooting percentages for the CPU. It's so annoying, usually I get realistic shooting percentages(sometimes mines are as high as the CPU) but the CPU just shoots 50-65 percent every game.

This really has taken the fun out the game for me, cause I have a Association with the already challenging Nets and this makes it worst. Anybody has good Mid range, 3 point, inside and close sliders I could use? I use "The Real 2K Inside rosters, so my tendencies are perfect, it's just that damn CPU doesnt score realistically. Also I play on Hall of Fame.

Every team I look at the Team Stats and check the the CPU's FG% I have this face on:

Are you using Shot Stick or Real FG%? If you're using Shot Stick, I reccomend switching to Real FG% because if you're able to master releases, you'll obviously shoot the higher percentage, which seems to be what you are doing.

Haha why is that? Is it cause that myth that you cant have a realistic game on Hall of Fame this year?

Are you using Shot Stick or Real FG%? If you're using Shot Stick, I reccomend switching to Real FG% because if you're able to master releases, you'll obviously shoot the higher percentage, which seems to be what you are doing.

Yeah I'm using the shot stick, I'll switch to real FG% then and see the results. Thanks man.

What would using the shot stick or real percentage have to do with the CPU's shooting percentage, my advice to you is turn the difficulty down work on your defense and then move up accordingly.

I downloaded a new slider set and tweaked it a little bit, only played 1 game so far. I was the Bulls vs Celtics FG% was 49-50% respectively. I kept checking it during the game it did drop down to the low 40's so I'll see how that goes.

I'll drop it down to all-star and see then results, good looking man.

No problem, I've slowly worked my way up as well, but the defense is the key, If you don't gamble for steals and generally do the best you can to stay in front of who ever your guarding you should be able to force the computer into bad shots late in the shot clock at any level.

Now whether they hit those long fade away shots at the end of the shot clock is something that you gotta deal with from time to time lol

you know its weird but i found i can control the CPU % using the consistency slider under attributes.

i found that at its default level of 50 (which is what it is for default and sim), once a CPU players hits just one shot, even a layup, they start hitting a lot of ridiculous shots because all of a sudden they are on a 'streak.' turning it down to about 37/38 means they wont get into as many streaks and their % will be much more realistic.

i found that at its default level of 50 (which is what it is for default and sim), once a CPU players hits just one shot, even a layup, they start hitting a lot of ridiculous shots because all of a sudden they are on a 'streak.' turning it down to about 37/38 means they wont get into as many streaks and their % will be much more realistic.

Not weird at all, actually makes alot of sense. Just gotta be carefull you don't negate the runs, because that's what basketball is all about. 6 to 8 point back and forth runs usually.

This is interesting. I would look into it, but seems a bit risky.

This also interesting, yeah I wouldnt want it messing up CPU runs either. But we would have to test it out and see
