My Player Mode: Getting Traded? <HR style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #c4c4c4; COLOR: #c4c4c4" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->I'm playing for the Blazers and I've requested a trade twice now to the Knicks who are interested in me. I actually have gotten traded twice now to the Knicks, but when the screen says "Your trade request has been approved you have been traded to the Knicks" and I hit OK I'm still playing for the Blazers.

Is this a bug, is there a way around this... I can't take a whole season of the Blazers.

i think you have to play a few more games before the transaction is actually processed

try making another game file save and simulating a few games ahead to see if you land on the knicks...if you do...reload your original file and proceed to play the game as you have been until you're shipped off to new york

tell me if it works...i havent asked for a trade in the current career im using but i've done so before with a file i deleted when i got traded to the warriors from the thunder...

the trade systems works. I was on the heat and asked to be traded.

I got traded to the Lakers. I cant remember if it was instant or not but it happened.

oh yeah i know the trade system works...it's the instantaneousness of it that is the issue at hand

I know it works... the problem is I asked for a trade, got traded according to the game, but I am still on the same team. If I go to transactions my trade is not there so it is as if the trade never happened.

Enigma I have played four games and I am still on the Blazers after creating the new save file and deleting my profile, etc... What I plan on doing is requesting another trade as soon as I am able to and see if it works this time.

im not sure what you meant by profile...but you didnt have to delete your profile or anything of that sort...i just wanted you to create an extra save file of your career so that if you mess up you have a backup copy

umm 4 games is a lot as it is...but try simulating a little bit more just to be thorough

i remember when i got traded to the warriors that it wasnt instant(this was before the patch...literally probably 3 days after the game first came out)

i remember this because to my surprise i started to actually do better statistically wise with the thunder right before they shipped me off to oakland

the only thing i cant recall is whether or not a popup told me that i've been traded...i just know i played a couple of games with the thunder before the trade finalized
