My Player: Who's single-handedly led his really poor team to win a championship?

    Exactly what the topic says...

Who 's led his poor team to win a championship as the go-to guy in the same way Lebron nearly did with his Cavs? That Cavs side was really built around Lebron and now that he's gone, just see how the current Cavs side 's doing.

Personally, I've never done that but I really would love to. I once played as a center for the Heat and helped them to become the champions but that's not the case. The Heat was already a great team!

I was really close to doing this with the wizards my rookie year as a SF. Our starting 5 were

    Pg John Wall
    Sg Ben Gordon(trade)
    Sf Me
    Pf Andray Blatche
    C Javale McGee

We went 47-35 got the 7 seed. We caught fire the last month of regular season and continued it in the playoffs. My player just started going off in the playoffs averaging 35 ppg. We got to the eastern conference finals but got beat by the Heat in game 7 89-88!!!! Awesome series to be in!!!

Re: My Player: Who's single-handedly led his really poor team to win a championship?

i won the championship every year but:

got drafted by chicago so that eliminates me from this feat..

season 2 was with the heat so...um obviously not qualified again

season 3 was with the hawks...they're a playoff contending team so i wouldnt consider this either

season 4(current) is with the kings(in season 3 they made it to the wcf and lost to the t-wolves in a 7 game series)....so they're playoff contending by factor of MP Mode progression so this discredit me this upcoming playoff even when i do win the championship

Like to travel Enigma? Winning three is quite impressive. My guy is on the Hawks. Any tips? Like why can't Johnson catch a pass on the wing while wide open?

Im superstar at level 69 for the Bucks and we are currently facing ATL in the first round. I took the team to the best record of 65 - 17. My current lineup is

              PG. Me
              SG. Rip Hamilton
              SF. Maggette (I hate him)
              PF. Gooden/Mbah Moute
              C. Bogut (Awesome C)

              I love this game...

9 minute quarters...i played almost every game within the regular seasons(aside from those that i sat out with an injury)...in season 3...i decided to simulate the entire playoffs BUT the finals(in case the milestone for 3 championships didnt count due to simulation) since i didnt need any more skillpoints

lol yeah...i didnt feel right taking away derrick rose's original spot....i also took away a lot of his scoring opportunities so i left....the heat team got boring after a while and bosh really did lack the ability to be a shot blocker as a teammate so i left(im heavy on having a strong front court)....i only joined with the hawks because it was the only one on my available teams interested that had a nice frontcourt...i didnt actually want to stay with them my whole career...during those first 3 seasons....i considered my player as having that of the "shaq factor" in which i brought a championship to 2(in my case 3) different teams...in a sense i was a mercenary for hire...but after season 3...i got bored of the eastern conference and wanted to move out west....the kings somehow acquired kevin love before the start of season 3 and had made it to the wcf that year so i knew the team was good...i was super lucky when i saw them interested in me during my offseason after winning my 3rd championship...i immediately joined them

is your passing rating high enough? are you doing the passes out of a double team? making a long range pass? those are the only things i can think of...i will tell you this though...most people have an issue with teammates missing wide open 3's so it's probably best to not be overly reliant on allowing johnson to take those shots...however, from my experience, it seems as though teammates are more likely to sink shots if they're coming off of a run or off a screen...they have to be in motion(such as a fastbreak along the sidelines)...you should hit them in stride...they seem to make the shots for me in that scenario

lol somebody apparently got traded out of milwaukee WITH bogut and landed on the clippers with both a stacked frontcourt in Kaman and Griffin...i was like O_O

I'm playing for the Clippers, and we have a 17-11 record so far. Not bad. The only thing thats killing us is Baron jacking up shots, which he really doesn't do anymore in real life.

I got drafted by Chicago, so you'd probably think that disqualifies me. But we lost Derrick Rose in the 1st round of the playoffs, Boozer about 2 weeks before the playoffs, and Noah went out for the year in November. We managed to beat the Nuggets in 7 games in the Finals though. My guy had to play with everything he had for us to win it seemed. The backups didn't let Chicago down, so that was pretty sweet. Hopefully we can stay healthy this year though. haha

I led bucks to championship season 1, left them to rival bulls season 2. Currently bulls best record in nba and bucks second worst record in nba

I won a ring with the Nets in my first year. I averaged over 30 pts and 12 reb per game. Line up was:

                            D Harris
                            Sasha Vu
                            Me
                            Favors
                            Lopez

We beat the Lakers in 5, it was unreal. Now in the 2nd year the Nets signed Carmelo and I decided to stay so now the line-up is:

                            D Harris
                            Melo
