Different things to do in NBA 2K11

What are some things you guy do differently to change up the game? For example, every once in a while, i create a team of all college guys are work them up, and stuff like that. What about you?

The other day I did a fantasy draft and just drafted white players. Not to be racist or anything, just something fun.

    My team looked something like this;

    PG: Kirk Hinrich
    SG: Mike Miller
    SF: Hedo Turkoglu
    PF: Blake Griffin
    C: Kevin Love

    Luke Ridnour
    JJ Reddick
    Darko Millicic
    Peja Stojakovic
    Nick Collison

I know I kind of cheated with Griffin and some of the European guys; but hey, whatever.

Not the greatest squad, but our starting lineup was good enough to earn us the 4th spot in the east(I was the Celtics) It was fun to do actually, next i'll do a draft of all guys under 25.

I recently did a fantasy draft with all of the classic players dumped into the free agent pool. Really made for some deep and talented teams as every single team now has at least one star player. My lineup looks like this after three trades.

        PG: Magic Johnson
        SG: Michael Jordan
        SF: Larry Bird
        PF: Dennis Rodman
        C: Ben Wallace

        Sixth Man: Ron Artest

It's really fun, now THAT is a Big Three.

Since I'm usually building crappy teams in Association, I like to occasionally switch it up and take an elite team like the Lakers and try to dominate the league for as long as I can. Keeping them on top can be a real challenge as the years go by and the Lakers' core starts getting older and teams and younger teams like the Thunder, Heat, Bulls, Knicks, etc. start getting better. There are usually challengers to your throne as early as year 2 so it's always fun for me.

I dumped the Timberwolves, entered the Sonics as my team, and placed all the other big names from the classic teams in the FA pool. Also changed all the ages for the current star players (Shaq, Kobe, Duncan) to early mid 20's so they wouldn't retire, which lets me edit all the draft players coming in to be useless so in a season or two so I'm not left with a bunch of poorly crafted created players on the court. That is the worst thing about this game. 80% of the created players look like crap. 2k should run a competition to let gamers send in head shots so they can get rid of the cartoonish look, really takes away from the game. First time I bought the game and I haven't been into the NBA in a long time but this brought me back.
