In association mode when I try to play it always makes me play as one person. Does anyone know how to play as the whole team.

I'm pretty sure that player lock is on, you just have to turn it off. I think its in either settings or association settings.

From the pause menu,

Options > My Controller > Controller Settings

Set preferred position to "None".
