Re: Players With Potential

Demar Derozan and Sonny Weems (Weems went unrealistically high up in my first Association year, like 5 points or something)

2008/09 played in 50 games started 50. 28 minutes a game he had 14pts , 8rebs.
2009/10 played 65 started 65. 30 minutes a game 15pts and 8 rebs.
This season 39/started 32. 26mins, 11pts, 8 rebs.

You said on another team you could see him getting 20/11. That would be because of more minutes not because of his skill set getting better.
Once again I am not saying he is a bad player but he HAS hit his ceiling.

An argument backed up with facts.
I said he could put up 20 and 11 with another team not because he would get more minutes, but he would get more touches. I just saw this stat on sportscenter, that when gasol and bynum shoot over 20 fg's a game the lakers are 20-5.

so only 25 out of the 65 games this season they have combined for over 20 fg's. about half of bynum's points are putbacks off offensive rebounds. if he was a big piece of an offense on a different club, the dude COULD be unstoppable if he STAYED HEALTHY. that is not hitting the ceiling in any way, shape or form.

And " if he was a big piece of an offense on a different club" he would get more defensive attention and more double teams. Have you ever thought he gets those numbers because of the team he is on.

Look at his Per 36 minute numbers even they don't go up that much. Your argument is based on opinion, mine stats and figures.

The End.

Henderson is one of my favorite players since his days at Duke, so naturally I'm trying to give him court time and develop him. Currently at the end of Season 1, he's averaged about 17 MPG 9.7 PPG 3.4 RPG 2.7 APG and everything else is under 2.0. So that's a very solid season for a 2nd year player only getting limited minutes behind Jack/Wallace. Oh, he also was injured in January and missed around 7-8 games.

Henderson is very athletic, has good speed and handles, a solid mid-range game, and can hit the occasional long-ball, but needs work in the beyond 18ft department.

One thing you should do though is change his Signature Shots. The ones he has by default are NOTHING like his real shot. I've seen him play in about 12+ games live at Time Warner Cable Arena, and watch and record every single Bobcats game. I've studied multiple players and adjusted their shots to be more realistic. I find that Monta Ellis' shot is the closest (damn near identical) to his real shot. As for his momentum shots I believe I used Wes Johnson's, but I'll need to double check that. PM me if you're interested and I'll give you the exact shots for Henderson.
