i was wondering how to call plays on 2k11 on the ps3 help anone?

Your question has already been answered, plus it's in the instruction manual...

On 360 I press the D-pad.

You can also tap LB or L1, depending on system, to call plays. Again, this is all in the manual.

L1 will bring buttons above there head for a double team it wont bring up the playmenu which is what im looking for

Ummm... on offense that is the play menu. Hit L1, then hit triangle or square or whichever player you want to call a play for... Once you get used to it, it's much faster than the dpad.

Notice the part I put in bold, that's what matters. I don't care if he would have said Atari, or Spiderpig, the bold put is what's relevant.

And as previously mentioned, L1 or LB, or button 7 is an alternate to the D-Pad for calling plays. The better option in fact, since you don't have to remove your hand from it's natural position or take your thumb off the sticks.
