Playcalling: Manual or Auto?

i always have it on auto just so i dont have to be bothered calling the play but if i dont like what they call i just override it

I just got 2K12 and I find that I like auto play calling. I player lock on the PG and play as if it's the HC calling the plays. Tons of fun for me...

Does the Run Plays coaching slider affect what plays are being run if you have it set to auto play calling, or is it strictly for the AI? I have found that even if I choose a team who's run plays sliders as low as 20, they will continue to call plays every time. What exactly does that "run plays" slider affect?

If I'm in coach mode I'll call plays, but I have them on auto if I'm playing...

I feel like this is the way to go. It's so much to think about trying to pay attention to the defense, position your player, look for open shots/lanes, etc. if you also are calling the plays. Plus IRL that' what the coach is there for anyway.

But if I'm not actually playing and just coaching I would obviously call all the plays.
