Help a broken hearted cavs fan
Ok I'm looking to start up a new season. I'm looking for a young player or two to build a team around. I like T. Evans but I would like to have a better dunker. Who are the best young guys that drive the hole, but aren't limited to it. Derozan maybe?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1tRd...layer_embedded

Re: Help a broken hearted cavs fan
DeRoazan is definitely a very athletic dunker if you want something like what you said. But a guy I like is Wesley Johnson from the T'Wolves, he is a little old for a rookie, but he would definitely be easier to get than Tyreke or DeRozan. Not a Minnesota Fan, but I am still waiting for Minny to bring home a Title... NOT INCLUDING THE LYNX -
Re: Help a broken hearted cavs fan
I got JR Smith for my Cavs when he played out his option with DEN...
Great for driving / layups / dunks / drawing fouls / finishing AND a pretty lethal 3 point shot if / when he heats up...
I also drafted Derrick Williams from AZ (DaRebirth draft classes), converted him to SF...
Sessions
Smith
Williams
Hickson
Varajao
Jameson
Gibson
Samuels
It's pretty easy to turn this around with a solid draft / limited FA and player development...
Sessions and Hickson developed VERY well (and very quickly) for me...Comment

Re: Help a broken hearted cavs fan
I lucked out in my association, as I landed the #1 and #2 picks in the Draft (I didn't cheat) and Draft Kyrie Irving and Harrison Barnes. But honestly, I could have used Sessions just as well. Irving scores better, but, Sessions plays really good physical defense and would be a solid option at PG.Comment

Re: Help a broken hearted cavs fan
While I appreciate the humor that is the problem. Lebron is a complete freak. I want a player to replace him soley because of my own pride. The thing is, you can't replace lebron because he is really one in a trillion. So I try to start a franchise only to realize every time that I can't have someone even near his abilities. I feel like a Canadian wishing it had a military...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1tRd...layer_embedded

Re: Help a broken hearted cavs fan
DeShawn Stevenson isn't that young but the dude can dunk over anybody. Same with Shawn Marion, Jason Richardson, etc.
A young guy that's pretty great at driving and dunking but can also shoot is Xavier Henry.NFL: Bills
NBA: Bucks
MLB: Cubs
NCAA: Syracuse
Soccer: USMNT/DC United

I do like Johnson as well. Reason I say Terrence Williams tho is 1) rockets are stacked at the 2 & 3 and can afford to lose him, 2) his speed, passing and rebounding make him like a mini-LeBron in this game, he's a beast for me.
Back before the season started when T-Will was on the nets I played my friend and Williams went off. That alone prompted that guy to draft Williams in our fantasy league. Obviously that didn't pan out IRL but in the game he's an animalComment
