Can any of you more experienced association players tell me what effect the weekly practices have on your team during an association season? Are the stat boosts you get temporary? How long do they last? What is the effect on your overall fatigue? etc. I'm just really unsure how it works and affects your team, so I have just been simming to the next game every time and not bothering.

Re: Practice in Association
Effects of practice last for your next game only. But keep in mind if you play well and morale and team chemistry are clicking your ratings get nice boosts that can last quite some time.
As far as fatigue. Yes it will effect your players evergy level and can cause injuries. Be careful not over work your team on long road trips, and back to backs.
Use your common sense. For example you have 2 days between a big game against the Magic. You want to make sure you hit the boards hard to offset Howards presence. So you schedule either a normal or hard practice for your team on rebounds.
Or for example you have a particular matcup your concerned about. So you schedule a normal or aggressive or light (depending on your players energy level) practice and focus on that player you want to step up (eg Wade vs Kobe).
I use practices throughout my regular season. In the post season I do not.Now Playing on PS5:

light 1 day
medium 2 days
heavy 3 days
That's how it's been anyway in former installments of 2k. I never use anything besides light practices.Comment

Taken directly from the game.Originally posted by NBA 2K11"Team Practice comes at a cost. The harder you practice your players, the more their fatigue will accrue. Light practices cause a +10 increase in fatigue, Normal practices cause a +20 increase in fatigue, and Intense practices cause a +30 increase in fatigue. The fatigue penalty lasts for the duration of the practice's effects.
Attribute boosts only last a few days depending on how much effort was assigned to the drill: Light practice boosts last 2 days, Normal practice boosts last 3 days, and Intense practice boosts last 4 days."Celtics Bruins Sox Eagles Liverpool
