Does the AI cheat on All-Star?

I've upped the difficulty from pro and am now playing on all star. Yet it sees like the AI just cheats in every game. They hit 50% from the field and are unstoppable on three point plays while Kobe and other all stars just become brick machines. Is this normal or do I need more practice? Any tips are appreciated.

You must not be that experienced because just yesterday I was able to get the opposing team to under 40% on Hall of Fame simulation and won.

Without an advanced ai that can adjust better, the higher difficulties will always cheat, or do things quicker and have higher probabilities for success.

In a word: Yes.

Try a fast-break and you will see how badly the computer cheats on All-Star and above.

Try lowering Hustle to 0. This keeps the defense from sprinting back at insane speeds. Also, lowering quickness to 0 helps as well.

Neither of these things breaks the gameplay.

All Star does NOT cheat you. This is coming from someone who is a religious NBA 2K player. I am currently playing on Superstar/Simulation because I began to destroy the CPU on All Star/Sim. I even play with Clutch Factor ON.
