No Wilson Chandler?

So Wilson Chandler has decided to take his talents to orient beach (China) for the next season. Thanks to China's rules and regulations, Chandler won't be able to ditch his Chinese team to come back to the NBA should the lockout end.

He's able to make this deal because he is a free agent now. If the NBA actually does play, he'll only be able to play the last few games at best, thanks to when that Chinese league ends, I do believe.

So does this mean 2K loses the rights to have him in 2K12? I know a lot of people might not care about losing one player, but he's definitely one of my favorite SFs in the game, if not my absolute favorite one.

Thoughts?

Some players that play for other teams are available in free agency.

I know that Julius Hodge has been in free agency every year and he plays overseas.

Allen Iverson played last season in Turkey but he was still in the free agent pool in 2K11.

We just have to wait and see.

he will be there on the first update, but when 2k start updating the roster, he will be gone for sure, same thing as ai last year~

In all seriousness though... He made a decision and that's that. I think the writing is on the wall that the likelihood of this season happening is VERY slim. Thank goodness for youtube nba classics and 2k hoops!

Sorry is there a screen shot of Chandler in this years game, or maybe they were also too busy to improve the gameplay last year by adding guys from 30 years ago. 2k11 sold over 5 million copies so maybe adding some of the greatest players to ever play in the NBA was not a bad idea, but I am sure tattoo are in your opinion is a better marketing tool. 2k12 more tattoos less legends.

Pretty sure he'll be updated in 2K12, but who knows if they'll remove him from the free-agent list. I'm kinda surprised that Chandler signed in China, when it was rumored he'd sign in Europe. The NBA lost a very good role-player thanks to the lockout. Hopefully, other players don't go this route, but it definitely makes me concerned about there actually being a season this year.

AI was in the FA Pool in the earlier rosters for 2K11. Then when he made his decision, they took him off.
