Moving to the Stick

After a couple games of the demo...think I've decided 2K12 is the year I finally move 100% to the shot stick. I've used it for dunks and post moves, but always used the button for jumpshots. It seems like this year, there's just too many good things about the shot stick to pass up. Time to break my X-Button habit.

Any other button users out there thinking of making the jump?

I only use X for spot up shots, it's really weird. I use the shot stick for everything else.

are there moves that u can't do with the x button??

i use shot sticks for dunks, lay ups, post moves, spin jumper, step back jumper.

but i like using X for spot up jumper and fade away, also drift shots.

i just cant do it. took me like 3 demo games to figure out how to do sig gathers and stepbacks with the button with ease. i was thinking about the stick for a second but nahhhhh. right stick is for isomotion moves only in my mind. i even do all my flick flick moves with the button. cant shake it.

I use the button for spot up shooting, stick for everything else. Not sure why, but it works that way.

Oh yeah I'm def moving to the shot stick now, especially with that shot indicator at the bottom it's gonna be all gravy now!

Can you give some examples? I've never considered switching from the X button for my jumpers, but I'd be curious to hear what these good things are that you speak of.
