Finally!! 2k showed some love to ps3 users

I always start a thread every year the ps3 users gets a crappy port from 2k and I was very vocal and blunt about it.

This year 2k stepped up their game and I think its just right to give credit to where its due. Thank you team 2k!! Keep up the good work!!

I played NBA 2K11 with the Mavs vs Heat and it looked noticeably better in 2K12.

Not quite....there's still no cameraman underneath the basket in the ps3 version. Also, the 360 version has a little promo with a animated Dirk and LeBron where as the promo in the ps3 version only contains text.

although i no longer play on the ps3 (im now on pc), i'm still very happy to hear this.. great job 2k!

yes it looks much much better than the ps3 demo i tried last year..

i'm still waiting to see if the pc version is crippled this year though..

well this year your biggest issues wont be graphics, just hacks and friends to play against.

I remember the 2k9 demo on ps3 looked great. (I think it was 2k9, it was Celtics vs Lakers) However, when the full retail came out I didn't think it looked as good as the demo. Some arenas and uniforms just look better. I thought the T'wolves looked great last year while playing at home, while the Sixers didn't look very good playing at home.

Might have been my eyes, but I hope for ps3 users that isn't the case this year.

Yes even though I have both I felt really happy that the ps3 version is up to par. I might actually get both I heard there is better competition on the ps3 community. But its funny how when they get it right, there is only one thread but if it were like the other years there would be five threads about it.

I believe the myplayer hacks don't work on PS3 or are harder to do on it, so maybe that's why people say the competition is better than 360.
