Idea for online ranked games.

I dont play online much for a number of reasons, one of which being the fact that I almost always end up playing the same top tier teams.

I think that in addition to the current way of moving up the leader boards ( winning), there should be a boost to win with a team you haven't played with in the past 6 games, doing the aforementioned and maintaining a certain winning percentage and a boost for every time you cycle through all the teams in the league.

I think this would encourage move variety. Forgive my ignorance if something like this is already in place.

That's a heck of an idea right there.... I wonder how many people would do that though.... U know some folks just care about a win and not the leaderboards....

That's a great idea. Very similar to an idea I had about 2K9 ago.

I suggested either a weekly, daily, or hourly update from 2k on which team used during a particular time frame could get you moved up the leader boards more quickly. Pretty much: if you can win with say...the Twolves from 2pm to 3pm in ranked games, you move up the leader board faster than a typical ranked game win. Then randomly switch it up every week/day/hour...but your idea is pretty creative too

I play quick ranked a lot, but I hardly bother to look at the leaderboard, so I'm not bothered where I am ranked. If 2K showed my rank when I was choosing teams that would be nice, but I'm not bothered.

i like what fifa 12 did. I would choose my team an it would match me up with a player that chose a team with a similar rating. It makes sense and it would work great on 2k imo.

Or a boost everytime you win over a way better team (wolves vs heat or something).
