Anyone want to guess what their team is ranked ?

I am a NYK fan so if I had to guess Id say

2nd in offense ( we can score with anybody ! )

18th in defense ( we played much better D in playoffs even though ughhh nevermind lol )

Id say 13th overall and on the rise
3 notches up from last year

Go Knicks !

Cant wait to use Stat n Melo in the POST !!

Why does it even matter. Those rankings can fluctuate simply by adjusting the roster lineups. Really meaningless info. I know you are a Knicks fan but it is really pointless.

I agree but you have to look at it this way from a fan prospective ...
NYK have not been good since 99-00
Thats a good 12 years !!
We are finally looking like a team on the rise with arguably TWO top ten players and some other decent pieces .
I have been waiting 12 years to field a GOOD team so i guess its more a respect thing .
btw the NYETS will never outshine the knicks !
Even when they had kidd , jefferson , martin , etc they couldnt sell out the building .
Good luck in Brooklyn but the KNICKS will always run the Empire state !

What you Knicks fan think of the Anthony, Billups trade? I thought the knicks where getting better, and Stoud was on fire, I really didn't understand it at the time. Especially let go young Felton and replace him by Billups (even though I like what he brought to the team).

It really didn't seem like a smart trade to me.

I love Melo but we were playing much better without him and we gave up a hell of alot .

With that said we have a higher ceiling in my opinion depending on how the new cba works .

We could be screwed or we could look great with 3 max players in their prime .

It sure beats the hell out of having watched the players we have had for the past 10 plus years .

Yeah I like Melo too but I think he is kind of an offense killer. And I feel Melo has affected Stoud's game in a bad way. Stoud should be the n1 star in this team in my opinion but he has fade back a bit since Melo arrived. I know he was injured too but still.

Stoud was playing at a legendary level before Melo arrived. He was to me the best player in the league at the time.

I agree .
Amare carried us and showed true leadership and when everyone left and melo came in it was a work in progress .

However ..

We played pretty damn good in the playoffs (even being swept lol) especially on D and if Stat and billups were healthy and the refs didnt have two crucial bad calls in back to back games late , we couldve beat the C's !

It is my belief we can play at an elite level with ANYONE ! even the nyets .. lmaooo
