NO ROOKIES????

I understand theres a lockout and the rookies havent signed contracts yet but why couldnt they put the rookies as free agents so we can at least be able to put them on there teams if we wanted????? i wanna put shumpert in the backcourt for my knicks! does anyone know if there is a 2kshare yet with this?

The reason is that they are not officially a part of the NBA yet. Not the NBAPA, nothing.

And I'm certain that people are working on creating them.

They can't put the rooking in the game period, they are basically not in The NBA because they never signed any deals. That's why they can't put them on the FA list.

I haven't followed the prerelease info for 2K12 at all but is there any news on if the rookies are hidden/locked on the disc like Dice-K was MLB2K the year he made his debut? Then one of the roster updates unlocked him and it had his cyberface and sig windup.

It'd be great if the rookies (real rookies, real cyberfaces, etc) can be added via update or being unlocked if/once the lockout ends.

From people doing hex edits, they have found some of the guys. Most of them are second rounders though.

I'm sure they are, it's just a matter of finding them.

They are on the disc, and will be avaliable after the lockout is settled.
