From what I read last week you cant do it out of the box. There will be some kind of pay for play mode where you can do it online.
By the way, I am a guy who has only paid for DLC one time EVER (PS3,MAG - Extra character slots), this will probably be the only other time I pay for any DLC...Its just gotta be played-Legends kills offline, online it will be even more insane!
