Tips on using a 5'7'' point guard in My Player?

How do you effectively play the game with a 5'7'' point guard.. the whole point of my player is to create someone like you and join in on the fun right :P I do use 6'6'' SG but I think i'd be interested to create someone exactly like me to see how i do in the NBA. I feel like I can basically forget about driving in the lane without getting blocked every time. Does anybody out there use a 5'7'' player?

His dribble & speed kills. Use his height to your advantage. Great in steals & very hard to strip

I agree, google the sub 6 foot guards that have made it to the league. Look at their mock draft information; their strengths and weaknesses. I think that would be a good starting point for considering a 5'7" guard's skill set. I can say off top, playing in the NBA, under 6 foot, you have to be special. There has to be something you do really well and that has to be coupled with freakish athletic ability.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents. I hope it helps.

If you do decide to drive, finish with the correct hand (the one farthest from the defender) and try to get the defenders off their feet with pump fakes.
Get a solid 3 point shot, high quickness, high speed, good handles.

Also, don't get tempted to try to play as a superstar, at that height don't shoot contested J's neither try to drive on clogged lanes

Pick a quick jumper with a high arc and put points into step backs and fadeaways.
