    Too many 'live ball' blocks?

Ok so being that I have played the game for some time now and have a bit of perspective, I wanted to ask do you all feel that there are too many 'live ball' blocks?

Now don't misunderstand the question because I'm not asking if there are too many blocks in general because I actually feel that as far as hand on ball blocks go, it should be more prevelant.

I'm talking about instances where the elbow and head blocks a shot.

It seems like I can get more blocks incidentally with non shot blockers than I can with timing with known shot blockers. Your thoughts?

Rudy Gay is very good at blocking shots for me. He just flies to block everything.

If I had to choose between this year's blocks and any other year's past I'm definitely going with 2K12. That being said, however, yes there are too many near the basket. Little guys get swats on bigs going for putbacks a bit too much. Just a bit though.

Yea I know what u mean very frustrating for me but I think its more due to me trying to force the ball into the paint.

I have never been blocked by someones head and the rim/back board in my life this is ridiculous.

Wow almost forgot some people don't like when others have opinions. Just cause you don't agree don't mean they gotta delete the thread.

I feel similar. It takes alot to jar the ball loose when im playing basket ball, however on 2k11 its as if the slightest touch of the ball is a block and is knocked free from my hand.

yes there are a lot more live ball blocks and steals. I think 2k did this on purpose.

It seems pretty easy but then again it only really happens when you try to put something up when the paint is super crowded so you deserve to get blocked. Also I'd rather have this than the unstoppable sideline layups that were in 2k11 after someone hopsteps

Agree, I get way too many shots blocked because of this

U too?? I thought I was the only one who was seeing defenders simply raise there arms and have there elbows/head block balls with out trying.
Can't think of the last time i saw so many elbow blocks in real life.

also co-sign the comments about pg's that don't have Nate Robinson's vertical blocking Pau Gasol's dunk.
