Which Difficuly Settings do you Play on?

I find that when I up the difficulty to All-Star/Sim, the cpu superstars start to play alot more like their real-life counter-parts and you will see moves being performed that you've never seen if you play on Pro. That is why I'm sticking with All-Star/Sim with minor changes to Fouls.

Has anyone else noticed the difference? What Difficulty Settings are you playing on?

I'm sticking with All-Star/Sim for now, don't feel comfortable enough to go HOF just yet.

And yeah, the game plays much "better" on AS than it does on Pro.

I played the Greatest games on HOF, and that was a proper pain in the ***... But I kinda wanted them to be painful, so that was all good.

Superstar challenges me enough, but on Greatest mode I go with AS.

All Star/Sim, Clutch Factor On, Real Player FT%.

I played two games on that difficulty setting last night after reading up on how to play Defense. Using the Nets, I lost 49-43 against the Sixers and I won 44-39 against the Celtics.

I was on Superstar/Sim in NBA 2K11, I hope it's not too long till I am there again.

EDIT: Well, I just thought about it ... I beat the Celtics on All Star with the Nets, dominated most of the game. I guess that constitutes that I should be playing on Superstar. Oh well lol

Right now Pro/default, I haven't had time to play enough games for my skills to really improve.

all-star/sim is my default setting for now because i thought players play like themselves. hof level plays ridiculously good but it's more like a "fantasy" setting for me. i still havent done superstar but i will give it a shot one of these days. if i get satisfied with superstar then i'll stick with it.

I actually went down to Pro/SIM last night, after getting frustrated with a couple of things that were VERY questionable to put it lightly, to continue the CPU teams run.

Bumped it down, and had probably my most enjoyable experience since, I can't remember when. Washington Wizards (me) @ New York Knicks.

I'll post the stats a little bit later, full box score and quarter by quarter breakdown, but the game went into OT tied at 105-105 on 12 minute quarters. I couldn't get ANYTHING going in the extra session, and they went on to win 120-115. Melo was POTG w/ 35 or 37 pts, can't remember which, but I couldn't stop him. VERY Melo-esque performance. I have a sweet replay saved after he hit the tying 3 pt shot with 1:30 to go in regulation, showing the emotion on the floor.

Can't forsee going back to AS/SIM after playing this game.

In my experience, Melo plays great on every difficulty settings, PRO, All-Star, Superstar etc but for some reason playing against other CPU superstars such as D.Rose, Wade and other PG/SG on Pro doesn't feel right. But if you bump it up to All-Star you get the aggression and moves from all the CPU superstars... Maybe it's a tendency thing, I'm not sure but I agree that Melo plays great on Pro too, but the other stars don't on that setting.

I play on HOF/Sim. My ego wont let me turn down the difficulty. The stuff that goes on this difficulty setting is like no other

Most ppl that play on superstar or HOF play with elite teams. Now play with the cavs on those mode.

My level is most definately pro. I played all the legends games once on default settings and went 7-8 in those 15 games. Most games are close and come down to the end with the occassional blowout.

I have settled in [for now] on Pro/Sim. I used to play on HOF level in 2K11 - so I mmediately jumped to All star in 2K12. Either my skills aren't up to par or I have yet to find the right slider settings - but All star is just not as fun for me right now. Pro/Sim gives me a real good challenge and I feel right at home with it.

All-Star/Simulation, 10 min., Real FG/FT%. Only slider changes were to lower Quickness to 5 and Clutch to 10.

                              All-Star/Sim, 10 minute quarters.

I'm 4-10 with my Pistons team in association.
