Why does MJ play like a wuss in NBA 2K12?

I usually play on "locked player" and control only 1 player (usually the PG). I have Michael Jordan on my team. In NBA 2K12, whenever I pass the ball to MJ, he will try to drive, but if he gets defended he will take a few steps back and pass the ball.....

In NBA 2K11, whenever I pass the ball to him, he will always try to shoot. He will even shoot when theirs more then 2-3 defenders on him! He rarely passes the ball.

So why does MJ play like such a wuss in NBA 2K12 as if hes scared or something? I am using the same MJ in both versions (97-98 season). Is their a setting or edit I can do so he will shoot more? I even edit his rating to shooting tendency to 100.

Got my MJ set to 100 and he lights up the scoreboard. I dunno why it's not working for you.

I don't have the game yet, but from what I'm reading look at his Pass Out rating compared to his Attack (the Basket) rating, per http://www.operationsports.com/forum...2k-roster.html

Try
90 Attack
10 Pass Out

or something. What are they currently set at?
