Ok what are we doing taking about whether the teams would realistically make the trade or what? I don't get what you're getting at???

If it is a trade that you think is cheating the A.I. In some cases...

But mostly it's basically just a trade grading system, like how good of a trade is this to your team and so on.

i like shannon as well but i just kinda figured technically he is a FA right now so im not sure if he will be back with the lakers and i love ariza, and its also nice to get rid of the $5 million dollar bench warmer luke walton and get a serviceable player like ariza along with a potential lottery pick

this is my lineup right now.

Starters
Derek Fisher
Kobe Bryant
Ron Artest
Pau Gasol
Andrew Bynum

Bench
Steve Blake
Matt Barnes
Trevor Ariza
Lamar Odom

Prospects/Bench Warmers

I think this was a fair trade like everybody knows Dwight howard is going to be a free agent so in my franchise i didnt want the magic to be like the cavs lose a superstar and get nothing back for him so i Traded amare stoudemire And 2 first round pick and a throw away player in balkman which they need cause of injurys. What does anybody think ? A superstar for a superstar plus amare has 4 more years left

I'd say you could've landed Fields or Douglas too, Dwight is far more valuable than Amare. Maybe this:

Amare / Fields / Balkman

for Dwight / bad contract, maybe Arenas

Re: OFFICIAL 'Association: Are these Good Trades?' Thread

Currently playing with the Knicks.

I just started my season (1-1, win against Heat and loss against Bucks) but I'm hunting for possible trades as the season matures more. The only real player I'm willingh to trade that has any value is Chauncey Billups. One possible trade I've been looking at is

Knicks trade:
Chauncey Billups (79 ovr)

Clippers trade:
Chris Kaman (73 ovr)

I would lost Chauncey's production, but I will gain a great talent at the 5. I signed Dalembert before the season started so my frontcourt would look pretty strong with Amare, Kaman, Dalembert, & Turiaf. I would probably make Toney Douglas the starter with Iman Shumpert and Andy Rautins behind him.

Clippers get a tough veteran point guard to lead their young talent and DeAndre gets the play time he deserves since he's likely considered the future of the Clippers. Griffin and Jordan frontcourt sounds very scary.
