Should I play on pro/default on my player?

I'm tired of having the CPU throwing full court passes perfectly, having the CPU have open 3 point shots.
I'm currently playing Allstar/default on Detroit Pistions. We practically lose every game. It seems when I simulate games we easily win games. But when I play games we suck. it's not because I suck, I can easily score 70ppgs but I choose not too because I like to play sim and it's really unlikely a rookie would score that many points -.-.
I'm debating wether to try Pro/default but scoring is easy enough and I want a challenge, but not at the point where I feel cheated.

I've read from a few threads that pro/default works like a charm, but not sure if that works on Player lock/My Player. Can anyone send me some feedback?

I would like to know this aswell. I'm actually playing it on these setting now, and I have had 4-5 game where I fell the game was good and free flowing. I'm on my 6th game against the lakers now and I'm loving it so far, both teams are moving it to the right man, and both teams are missing some shots but I feel making other shots that feel right.

I always play on Pro until It gets to the point where i'm geting trip-dubs easy then I bump up the difficulty for more of a challenge.

i dont think its about being a baby, its about being realistic.

Seems like the CPU rarely misses shots, contested step back buzzer beaters are damn near 100%, i may drop the skill level to pro just to see if i can get some missed shots from the CPU....

How about stop being stupid and read what I originally posted. Hall of fame is a challenge but it's not sim which I intended this thread to talk about. I was asking people if pro/default is realistic. I wasn't asking about your opinion about hall of fame.

Is this on my player? I know that it's really sim when playing quick games. Will it be the same on my player? I don't want to drop 70points and 30assist a game.

Run a test game and see for yourself? I run allstar/deafult and the game flows fantastically. Great pace on offense and defense with realistic stats, save low overall scoring because I play 8 minute my player games.

Depends how you play as well.

Sure is my player. I just up to allstar, to see how it played there and I like it. Got beat after our 5 game win streak. Game played great on allstar as well. Flowed nicely with both teams making and missing the right shots. Definitely more challenging, almost got run out by earl boykins team but came back to make it respectable.

Play the mode and style that gives you the most pleasure, it is a video game with options use it, too many people think they need to prove themselves as a true sim head by playing the game in extremely difficult levels like it's some badge of honor when most of them end up playing unrealistic ball just to win.

                      3ptrs aren't a problem on pro / default and the game's still a challenge.

On a side note, MP just lost a large percentage of it's mojo since it's not online playable.

Must just be my My player. Detroit Pistons cannot win a game. I scored 3/4 of our teams points just to try to win the last game of the season yet we still lose 70-114
                        I also wasn't ballhogging because I had 9 assist.

Yes you should, it's still frustratingly stupid but not as much as is on other difficulties.
Say "No" to railroaded MC modes.

Yeah, I understand. I just don't like when I'm making all of my shots, I understand if im on fire. But I'm getting unrealistic sliders when its on low difficulty. I wish you could change the sliders in MP.

The only thing is the fouls... Too low in my player and obviously you can NOT change them so I don't know man I'm switching back and forth playing allstar sim then next game go to default. Just getting a better feel and making my decision if I Wanna turn away fouls for a more smooth style on default.
