    For those that want help...

After reading this forum more intensely than I have the past few years, I'm really enjoying it. I'm also seeing a lot of people asking for help or misunderstanding the game.

That being said, I'm not a guy that plays the game 12 hours a day (though I'd like to at times, haha), but I do know real basketball (played at all sorts of levels but major college) and have played every 2k game since the beginning.

Would it help if I posted some videos on my YouTube channel as sort of a supplement/answer to these help questions like, "Why can't i make a pass?" and "how do you do (insert name of move here)?" I'd really like to help and give tutorials or tips or whatever. Again, I don't think I'm the greatest or anything, but I'd like to contribute and help. The tips and how-to videos last year seemed to do pretty well on the channel (link in sig, I don't want to spam).

    Thoughts?

I think that is a great idea. I understand the game in and out but WOW, 3 point percentage is out of this world.

Thanks man, I may give it a shot depending on response. It would take a bit of time, but I just want everyone to enjoy the game, you know?

I agree on three point percentage. I've had some pretty crazy games with that, haha.

What kind of videos would people like to see for 2k12? I'm looking for some feedback on it so I know what they'd like to see or find useful.

Re: For those that want help...

Thats a great idea!!!! I would like to know:

How to pass- why can't I get more zip on the ball/ passes are delayed
How to beat zones vs humans who roam the court w/ defenders and still seem to cover space
Understanding player movement- ex. Post player can be standing on block (not in post up but just standing there wide open) and when I pass the ball (not trying to lead pass cheese) and the player decides to back pedal away from the ball and let the defender steal it.

I have many more lol.... Subscribing now!!!! Thanks!!!

All good ideas; thanks for checking the channel out as well. They're added to the list and I'll likely make it into a series of How-tos and Tips for 2k12. I'm thinking one for big man play and one for guard/wing.

                  Appreciate it! Any other ideas?

You played ball as well, I'm still in college but I'm wondering where you play ball at? Because I played and still play in the jersey, New York area, and I'm just curious as to where your from and how hooping is like over there because its different every where you go.

I played in Indiana (HUGE basketball there; tons of fun) and Wisconsin (they could care less if it isn't football). Love basketball of all sorts.

I'm actually gonna be doing post play as one of the first ones on here. Thanks for all the replies so far; I did some work on the videos over the weekend. Keep em coming!
