don't get me wrong. it's solid, i'm okay with my purchase, and i'm still playing it (though i'm not putting in the hours that i normally would with an ideal NBA2K release). i love the presentation, certain aspects of the new AI, and the improvements to momentum/physics, but i can't escape the feeling of wishing that this good stuff wasn't in THIS particular game. looking around the community, it seems like the little problems in 2K12 are turning into a huge snowball. judging by a good portion of the threads around here, i can't help but wonder if people even like this game.
i won't bother listing my specific personal issues with the game, since i already did so in another thread; but i'm just wondering if it's even realistic to think that 2K can correct a good portion of the complaints with 2K12? i don't make games, but i'd imagine that stuff like fixing AI (beyond tendencies)...or trade logic..or on-the-fly coaching menus...or online stability, for example, isn't easy to do in the time constraints for a patch?
