NBA 2K12 Patch v1.03 to be released on XBox 360 soon!

Ronnie tweeted this afternoon that the NBA 2K12 patch released last week for PS3 was approved by Microsoft and should be live soon. What do you think 360 users? Are you ready for the patch?

Only if it's a good patch. If it's a bad patch, then, no, I'm not ready for it.

Is this the big gameplay patch that hopefully allows us to fully customize online unranked games like we were able to last year? The one that will allow us to bump up the foul sliders ONLINE? If so, then ABSOLUTELY I am ready for this patch.

Since I don't see the day coming anytime soon where games won't need patches for core gameplay features, I sure look forward to the day when we don't have to wait weeks for certification. Kind of crazy that, in this technological age, we have to wait weeks (after it's ready) to get a patch for a game.

I don't know all the details of what you are talking about but I do remember seeing Ronnie post that this is NOT the big patch we were promised. I would imagine it will be a few more weeks for that one to hit.

He posted the patch notes on twitter and it was just a copy of the PS notes. Same patch as far as i can tell.

God yes. I just wish they'd include sliders for My player to actually make it a viable mode.

For clarification,

This is the same patch as the PS3 recieved last week with one addition:

• "Also made fix for "lag" skips both offline & online (that had pause workaround)"

As a PS3 user, I've had the patch for several days. I can tell you that online connectivity is definitely improved. Don't expect any real improvements other than that.

i know you cant answer everything BUT can you PLEASE tell us if the next patch will only address "gameplay"? there are some DIRE association issues that are preventing people from starting there association modes a full month after release.

I personally don't care about 2K12 until they release one that fixes the A.I. trade dismantling of teams in the game, IF they even fix this. Even though it doesn't affect me since I don't usually play online, thanks for fixing some of the other stuff, It's good to know you guys care about your product. I will say this though, I will never again buy ANY sports title on release day again. Lesson learned.

Read my friend. . . it's the same patch released for PS3 days ago. Only difference. . . it's for XBOX 360.
