Is there a way to dissconnect cheat?

Or am I just that unlucky? Several games lately I have been up pretty large late in the game, my opponent pauses it, then when the gameplay returns the game disconnects saying I have lost my connection to the internet and should check my cables. Yet PSN is still working fine and none of my internet enabled devices have lost services.

I feel like there may be a way for my opponents to cause this to happen as this seems to only happen when I have a large lead or a lead late in the game. It is very frustrating and a sizable percentage of my ranked losses are due to B.S. random disconnects.

My last game I played a dude used every idiotic cheesing tactic imaginable but yet I was still up by 10 with 22 seconds to go and of course here comes the disconnect loss. To have to take a loss to someone playing so idiotic and possibly cheating makes me want to snap the game in half.

Ive had a couple ppl pause the game and disconnect too, but I havent recieved losses for those games. Then again, the wins and loses on the pregame screen are different than the wins and losses on the home screen.

IE - Home screen Im 23-2
Pregame load screen Im 52 -13

I would say the homescreen is right, because I did lose 2 times (both ot miami heat ppl). **Quick Vent** Its so irritating seeing everyone pick the Heat, I'll just keep logging in and out till someone picks a different team. I hate the fact that eventually i have to run 1/3/1 to keep Lebron and Wade out the pain, since the on ball def seems to let ppl slide by even if your bumping them. We all know, Lebron and Wades slide by = And 1 dunks, foul for freethrow, or continuation and the foul.
